Designing for Self-Guided Learning on an Educational App
Problem
Fun People Inc. experienced a decline in attendance at their in-person workshops, limiting access for adults interested in their courses. Without a digital platform, they were unable to reach learners who could not attend summer camps in person.
Goal
The goal was to design a mobile app that expanded the reach of their summer camp classes. The app needed to provide an engaging and intuitive experience while maintaining the playful and welcoming atmosphere of the in-person workshops.
Solution
I designed a clean, easy-to-navigate mobile app supported by a set of friendly mascots that guide learners through courses. The user experience was built around a simple flow with clear progress tracking, while the visual identity combined soft colors and playful illustrations to keep learning fun and approachable.
