RETURNS

If you are not satisfied with your Kara Keddie purchase you can return it to us within 28 days from the date of receipt. Provided it is returned to us unused and in the original condition you received it, we are happy to issue a refund for the cost of the item only.

 

If 28 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange unless the item received is defective or damaged.

 

Before sending any items back, you must notify us of your wish to return at kara@karakeddie.com within 14 days of receipt. Please note we will not be able to process returns unless you notify us first.

Please include in your correspondence the following information – name, address, order number, reason for return and whether you would like a refund or exchange (should you wish to exchange, please provide details of item you would like to receive).

We will issue a 'Returns number' in our e-mail confirmation. This number must be marked on the address panel and accompanying correspondence.

 

After you have notified us of your wish to return, the item must be returned to us within 14 days. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item.

Once approved, then your refund will be processed within 14 days, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment, unless you have otherwise informed us that you would like an exchange.

Please allow 21 days for your refund to be completed and processed back to your original payment method.

 

EXCHANGES

Subject to stock availability, we are happy to exchange items. If you would like to exchange an item, send us an email at kara@karakeddie.com, informing us of the details of the item you would like to receive in exchange.

 

SALE ITEMS 

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded or exchanged unless the item received is defective or damaged.

 

CUSTOM ITEMS

 Custom items are non refundable and non exchangeable. Custom items include any item made to order, customised, personalised or altered in any way from the stock item images displayed in our online shop.

 

Please note that under your statutory rights in which you have the right to cancel, the right to cancel is withdrawn in respect of custom orders where work has commenced.

 

FAULTY ITEMS

We take great care to make and inspect all Kara Keddie items for any faults before sending out to our customers, however we also advise customers to check garments throughly for any damage or defects upon delivery before removing and disposing of packaging and tags. 

 

We cannot accept returns where original packaging such as tags, boxes, cards, etc. have been removed. Therefore upon receipt of an order, if any item has been delivered without tags, you must notify us on the same day.

 

Items will be inspected upon return and any item deemed subject to fair wear and tear will not be accepted as faulty.

 

If your item has been accepted as faulty we will offer a full refund including shipping costs, unless you have stated that you would like a replacement or exchange.

 

SHIPPING RETURNS OR EXCHANGES

Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the item you are returning has been accepted as faulty. If you receive a refund, the original delivery charge will be deducted from your refund. 

 

We will not make any additional shipping charges for exchanged items however we will not be responsible any additional customs duties or taxes for the exchanged item.

 

You will be responsible for arranging and paying for shipping costs for returning your item. If your item has been accepted as faulty we will refund the cost of return delivery, but please note this will be limited to the cost of a standard service.

 

We will not be liable for any customs taxes or duties charges incurred when returning goods and these will be deducted from any refund due. We reserve the right to refuse any returned parcel that has attracted a customs charge.

 

We cannot refund an item that we do not receive, so please ensure you obtain proof of posting and use an appropriate service. We are not responsible for any items lost, stolen or damaged in transit when returned and it is the customer's responsibility to claim from the relevant carrier company for their loss.
